Take a deep breath & de-stress (1 min read)

Hey everyone!!! Wishing all the ladies out there a very happy women’s day.

Today I am going to share with you simple ways to relax and de-stress. There are different types of stress. Stress can be healthy at times as it gives you a sense of focus and motivates you to rise to the occasion. Then there is stress that is harmful, it can cause the body and mind to overreact.


  • Get some exercise: No matter what your fitness level is, moving your body is important to combat stressful reactions and prevent them from arising in future.
  • Eat well: Eat food that nourishes your body and drink at least 8-10 glasses of water daily. Quit smoking and avoid drinking alcohol in excess.
  • Sleep well: Sleep is an essential key to staying healthy and strong. I personally switch off my phone at least 15-30 minutes before going to bed.
  • Stay positive & smile more.
  • Take out time for yourself, find time for your hobbies.
  • Spend time with family and friends. This is also a great way to relax.
  • Avoid too much caffeine. Drinking too much caffeine not only makes you shaky and irritable but also makes it difficult for you to sleep at night.
